It has taken a while and a bit of work but the website for the Mallee Routes project has finally been upgraded. It is a more modern design, and it’s appearance is more visually appealing than the old theme. The Kadence theme that is being used– Ascend-–is more versatile and sophisticated than the older one.

In working through the various blog posts to create the featured images for each post I realized that I’d started photographing the Mallee in 2016. The first camp was in July 2016 at Ouyen on the Calder and Mallee Highways in the Wimmera Mallee. This was where I started this project as a photographic project, rather just taking a bunch of snaps or photos of an object or scene that caught my eye as I drove along the Mallee Highway on my way through Hay to Canberra.
